The McLaren F1 team clinched the 2025 constructor’s championship making it back-to-back successes for the first time for the Woking team since 1991. They have done so with 6 races to spare, which equals Red Bull’s 2023 record.

The weekend through OP’s visor

Quali…

“I wanted more and thought we could have achieved more as we headed into Qualifying, but ultimately we didn’t have the pace to challenge for Pole. As a result, I am happy with where we have ended up. It has been a solid weekend, and I think we’ve built up to it nicely. It was a clean session, so not much more we could have asked for. Let’s see what we can do tomorrow.”

The race…

“I am very proud of this team. We’ve won back-to-back Constructors’ Championships, something we are all so proud of. It’s been a really good season so far, and to win it this early in the year is a great achievement. A massive congrats to the whole team, and thank you for all of the hard work. It was a trickier race on my side, but it’s something we’ll review as a team. Now, we’ll rest and reset before we head to the US.”
