    FIA Formula 1

    McLaren F1 Team Driver. Oscar will be at the wheel of McLaren’s 2024 challenger throughout the 24-race calendar.

  • 2023

    FIA Formula 1

    Two Grand Prix podiums, a Sprint race win in Qatar and a fantastic Sprint race podium at Spa-Francorchamps sealed a memorable maiden season in Formula 1. Oscar was awarded a multi-year contract extension until at least the end of 2026 after just 15 races and received the Autosport Rookie of the Year, FIA Rookie of the Year and BRDC Bruce McLaren trophies.

    FIA Formula 1

    Off the back of three consecutive championships, Oscar graduated from the Alpine Academy and became BWT Alpine F1 Team’s Reserve Driver.

    FIA Formula 2

    Oscar continued his relationship with Prema Racing for the 2021 Formula 2 season with a win in only his second race. He went on to get a podium at every round (11 in total), six fastest laps, five consecutive poles and five further victories, including four feature race wins in a row. His maturity and raw speed were the winning combination as he took the crown with two races to go in his rookie season.

    FIA Formula 3

    Oscar joined reigning team champions Prema Racing for 2020 and started his season with third on the grid and a debut win in his first race. He later went on to take three consecutive second-place finishes before retirements and reliability issues affected his season. He would go on to pick up one more impressive victory and a third-place podium finish on his way to winning the tightly fought championship.

    Formula Renault Eurocup

    Oscar switched to reigning team champions R-ace GP for the 2019 championship. He claimed his first victory in the series at Silverstone, with a second win at the same venue a day later. He became the first driver to win three races in 2019 after taking victory at Spa-Francorchamps and became champion after taking a win and fourth place at the final round at Yas Marina.

  • 2018

    Formula Renault Eurocup

    Oscar made his debut in the championship, reuniting with Arden. Claiming three podiums and two rookie wins, with a highest placed finish of second at the second race at Hockenheim. He finished the season eighth in the championship.

  • 2017 | Vice Champion

    British F4 Championship

    Oscar was named as part of the TRS Arden Junior Team's line-up for the British F4 championship. There he claimed six wins and six pole positions to finish as runner-up.

    UAE F4 Championship

    Oscar made his single-seater debut in selected rounds of the Formula 4 UAE Championship with Dragon F4, claiming two podiums to take sixth in the championship.
