The McLaren Formula 1 Team today revealed the MCL39’s striking livery at The O2 as part of F1®75 Live, the official launch event of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
Following the track debut of the MCL39 at Silverstone Circuit on 13 February where Oscar got behind the wheel, the team have revealed an evolution of their 2024 FIA Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship-winning livery.
The 2025 design continues to use McLaren’s iconic papaya colour palette, incorporated with anthracite and a hint of teal in honour of the team’s rich historical tradition of carrying over livery design templates when winning a Championship.
“I am super excited for what we’ve got in store. Last year was a great result for the whole team and for both of us as drivers, but we want to take that next step up and fight from the beginning. Thanks for coming out tonight, we hope you’ve enjoyed the show. I am super excited for the season to start.”
But there isn’t long to wait as Oscar has less than a week to wait until he can get back behind the wheel of the MCL39 at the Bahrain International Circuit on 26-28 February. Three days of track time in the new car, followed by two weeks to prepare for the season opener and Oscar’s home race in Australia, 14-16 March.
