Key moments:

  • Oscar takes the chequered flag in P9 to finish in the points with an impressive recovery drive during an eventful Dutch Grand Prix
  • A chaotic start in wet conditions shuffled the pack with Oscar staying out on the softs and having to fight his way back through the field
  • The safety car was also called immediately after Oscar had boxed for his second set of softs which made things even tougher
  • His strong comeback drive saw Oscar complete a string of overtakes to battle his way back into the top half
  • A late red flag then delayed proceedings for over 40 mins before he made up a further place after the restart to secure two points

The race through OP’s visor

“That was an eventful Sunday. There was an awful lot going on out there and plenty of changing variables to contend with. The weather certainly made it a tricky one to judge.

Overall, it’s nice to come away with a few points and I was happy with the way that I fought back through the field to get back into the top half.

A few things could have gone a little better but to come from where we were back into the points is a decent recovery. I’m looking forward to going again in Monza.”
