“It’s a shame to come up just short of the points today as it was looking promising for a while. I was going well in the early parts of the race but then we just didn’t have the pace or the tyre life to sustain it.

I was happy with the overtakes that I made and how I managed the tyres as best I could, but it wasn’t to be. That said, I still learnt a lot with all the mixed conditions and a new track for me.

Thanks to all the team for their hard work on my car ahead of the race. I really appreciate it. I’m already looking forward to getting back to it in Austria.”
