“Today was a trickier day than yesterday as we simply didn’t have the pace that we found in qualifying. That meant that things were always going to be difficult.

I fought as hard as I could in the midfield battle and managed to make a few good passes, but it wasn’t to be.

The encouraging part of the weekend was definitely the one-lap pace that we displayed in qualifying with both McLarens in the top 10 and so, hopefully we can build on that.”
