Oscar’s trip to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on the banks of the Red Sea saw him take on the fastest street circuit on the F1 calendar.
There were plenty of encouraging signs as he got into Q3 in just his second-ever Formula One qualifying session to secure a starting berth of P8.
During the race, he showed fantastic tyre management to finish the race with multiple overtakes on a set of hard tyres that had completed almost a full race distance.
Seeing the chequered flag, after an electrical issue finished his Bahrain GP prematurely, will have also given him more experience and plenty of learnings as he continues to get accustomed to the car in his debut F1 season.
Off-track, it was a similarly busy weekend with a jam-packed schedule that saw him meeting and greeting fans, working tirelessly to crunch the numbers with his engineers and talking with the world’s media.
Here’s a few snapshots of OP’s Saudi Arabian GP weekend including a few of those epic night race pics. Enjoy!
